10.22.2023 - "Oren’s Way” has won the Best Animated Short award at the LA Femme Film Festival this evening! Along with winning Best Children’s Animation at the Rhode Island International Film Fest, it has screened at over 10 other festivals so far!
8.20.2023 - Not only has the animated short “Odd Dog” won the Best Animation Film Award at Cannes Shorts (2022) and 4 other awards between 2022-2023, but it shows today at Cinequest! The film has screened at over 20 other film festivals.

11.08.2014 - The short film “If We Took a Holiday”, scored by Jennifer Kes Remington, was named Best Overall Film at the Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival! The short was also included in the “Best of Fest” at LA’s Outfest and received several other accolades since its World Premiere in July.

04.15.2010 - "Hollywood, 90038” has been chosen as an Official Finalist at the 2010 Las Vegas Film Festival! The film was among the best of over 1,000 films submitted from over 30 countries around the world. The award for the documentary will be presented at the LVFF closing ceremonies on June 6th.

10.02.2007 - Today, nominations were announced for the Film and TV Music Awards, and Jen has been nominated for TWO! One is for the indie film “Socket” and one is for “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends”! The awards are unique because voting is open to people working in the music industry and only honors people in Film/TV Music Industry related categories. The winners are announced October 30th!
10.01.2007 - "Socket" has been picked up for distribution by TLA Releasing/TLA Video! The film will be available on DVD in first quarter 2008, and possibly on Video-On-Demand and Pay-Per-View shortly afterwards.
09.17.2007 - The indie documentary by Hey Dogg! Productions entitled “Hollywood, 90038” was accepted into its first film festival today, LA FEMME FILM FESTIVAL! LA Femme Film Festival is a premier festival that focuses on women filmmakers’ platforming their commercial films for the world wide audience. The movie will screen on Friday, October 12, 2007.
07.19.2007 - "Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends” is nominated for an Emmy Award! The Category is “Outstanding Animated Program (For Programming One Hour or More)”. It was for the episode entitled “Good Wilt Hunting”. The Emmys telecast is set for September 16th.
06.01.2007 - The indie feature “Socket” is accepted into the Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Fest, Gaylaxicon in Atlanta, and Outfest in Los Angeles. It has gotten several positive reviews so far including one from The Advocate magazine.

The float will feature characters from the show and will play the Beatles tune “A Little Help From My Friends” (Fosters style!) arranged by none other than composer James L. Venable.
